SWEET OFFERINGS A Macro iPhone image of a busy bee drinking from the cup of a flower of an unusual pink gumtree. The owner of the trees, David, in Ascot, informed me these may be the only hybrid gumtrees of their kind in Perth, Western Australia. The flowers blossom in Summer, starting out a vivid pink as seen in the image, then fading to a pale pink, then white. Shot using my iPhone 4 and my NoodleMacro. Processed using Snapseed, PhotoForge 2 and Iris Photo Suite. 20th January 2012.
